Taneisha Jaxxon, a singer/songwriter born in Jamaica, moved to England at the age of 9 where she was raised in the heart of South East London. With a love of old-school soul and funk, as well as pop and dance, Taneisha is one of the UK's most exciting young songwriters and on course for major success.
In 2014 John Legend recorded one of Taneisha's songs called 'A Place Called World' and it became the soundtrack to an international campaign by San Miguel. She's currently working on new material with Electric (Little Mix, Fleur East), Sub Focus, Unorthodox (Calvin Harris/ Disciples), Jorgen Elofsson (Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears) and Cathy Dennis (Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry & Galantis). She has also worked with high profile producers such as Michael Angelo, Will Simms, Digital Farm Animals (Syco) Steel Banglez, and Mojam. She has cuts on forthcoming releases by artists including EVE, CLiQ (Columbia) and Louisa.
Taneisha recently wrote the new track '999' from Afrobeat producer Mars Monzi featuring Wusu and Louisa. It went straight in at number 13 on New Music Friday on Spotify, with no radio or online promo.
